St. Johns County

Between St. Augustine, (the nation’s “Oldest City”) and Ponte Vedra Beach, (best known as the home of the PGA Tour’s The Player’s Championship) St. John’s County is becoming increasingly well known. A large part of the County’s popularity is due to it repeatedly earning the distinction of having the best public schools in the state. The pulse of St. Johns County is found along it’s miles of emerald Atlantic Ocean fronting white sand beaches. However, the Intracoastal Waterway flowing through historic downtown St. Augustine, (yes, the St. Johns River flows North) to the St. Johns River provides ample fishing, skiing and boating opportunities for water enthusiasts.
